Last minute anxiety. WTH am I doing?

I have written a book, a huge accomplishment! At least, I think so. But now, the clock is ticking towards my release date, and I'm a little freaked out. I believe in my story and I feel that I've done everything to make it the best it can be, so that's not why I'm freaking out. It's because there are thousands of new ebooks loaded each week on Amazon. That is where my anxiety comes from. I want people to read my book, but how the heck am I going to set mine apart so people will see my book in the sea of books already out there?

Of course when you search How to market your book, there are hundreds of ways. It's a little overwhelming. One way has worked for one author, that way didn't work for another. Some are paid, some are free. Well of course I choose free, but will the results be just as great? Too many freaking options.

I should be writing book three, Fate Loves. But nope, my OCD on figuring all this out before I release is consuming the space in my brain. Truthfully, writing the book was easier than figuring all this shit out. Thankfully book two, Fate Heals is already written. Woohoo! At least I don't have to worry about that too, and you don't have to worry about me leaving you hanging for too long after the cliffhanger ;).

Hopefully by the time y'all read this, I'll have made my way into the world of being a published author. I should just relax and know that I don't only have one chance to get it right. I'll just keep trying different avenues and hope I hit the jackpot with marketing my book. I'll update y'all if I find that one way works better than another because I'm sure I'm not the only new author stressing about this. I guess I should get back to my growing list on how to market my book.
